OpenAI agreed to buy io, the AI hardware and design startup founded by Jony Ive, in an all‑stock deal valued at about $6.5 billion. The acquisition brings roughly 55 engineers and designers into OpenAI and folds io and LoveFrom’s design responsibilities into OpenAI as it pursues a new family of consumer AI devices.

ServiceNow agreed to acquire AI startup Moveworks in a $2.85 billion cash-and-stock transaction to accelerate its agentic AI and front‑office capabilities.
