Renaissance, a national network of independent insurance agencies headquartered in Chicago, has acquired the agency network business of United Agents of Arizona (UAA), a Mesa-based group of seven member agencies representing $170 million in premium. The acquisition expands Renaissance's presence in Arizona and gives UAA members access to Renaissance's placement services, technology platform, analytics and other network resources.

Vyne, a health information exchange and electronic healthcare communication provider, acquired Renaissance Electronic Services, an Indianapolis-based dental EDI and claims clearinghouse provider. The acquisition is an add-on to Vyne's dental portfolio (itself PE-backed by The Jordan Company) to expand electronic claims, attachment and revenue-cycle capabilities for dental practices nationwide.
