Renaissance Acquires Agency Network Business of Consolidated Insurance Agents (CIA)

Renaissance, a Chicago-based network of independent insurance agencies, has acquired the agency network business of Consolidated Insurance Agents Inc. (CIA), a Buffalo, New York agency group whose 23 member agencies represent $47 million in premium. The deal expands Renaissance's footprint into the Mid-Atlantic region and gives CIA members access to Renaissance's market access, placement services, technology and service resources.
