Renaissance Acquires Agency Network Business of Evolution Partners

Renaissance, a network of independent insurance agencies, has acquired the agency network business of Evolution Partners, a California-based membership group that helps independent agencies secure direct carrier appointments. The deal gives Evolution Partners' members access to Renaissance's market access, placement services, technology and service resources; Navion Insurance Associates, the flagship agency of Evolution Partners, will be the first to adopt the Renaissance platform.

Renaissance Acquires Business of United Agents of Arizona (UAA)

Renaissance, a national network of independent insurance agencies headquartered in Chicago, has acquired the agency network business of United Agents of Arizona (UAA), a Mesa-based group of seven member agencies representing $170 million in premium. The acquisition expands Renaissance's presence in Arizona and gives UAA members access to Renaissance's placement services, technology platform, analytics and other network resources.

Renaissance, a national network for independent insurance agencies, has acquired the agency network business of Insurance Services of the West, LLC (doing business as Insurance Agency Network or IAN), which represents more than 70 member agencies and $400 million in premium volume. The deal expands Renaissance's national footprint into 12 additional states and gives IAN members access to Renaissance's carrier/market access, placement services, technology platforms (including new AI tools), and enhanced profit-share opportunities.

Renaissance Alliance Acquires Agency Network Exchange and United Valley Insurance Services

Renaissance Alliance, a Long Arc Capital portfolio company, has acquired Agency Network Exchange (ANE) and United Valley Insurance Services in two separate add-on transactions that together add approximately $2.4 billion in premium. The deals expand Renaissance's footprint into Arizona, California, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and increase its network to 273 independent agencies representing $3.6 billion in premium; both acquired networks will continue operating under their current brands and leadership.

Ambac Acquires Majority Stake in Riverton Insurance Agency Corp.

Ambac Financial Group has acquired a majority stake in Riverton Insurance Agency Corp., a New Jersey-based insurance services business that includes the MGA Professionals' Best and retail agency ALIA. Riverton will join Ambac's Cirrata Group division to expand Ambac's property & casualty insurance distribution capabilities and professional lines offerings; terms were not disclosed.
