The add-on expands GridSource's service offering and geographic footprint, marking the first add-on since Hastings acquired GridSource in December 2022.

Hastings Equity Partners has made a Fund V platform investment in GridSource, a Baton Rouge-based utility contractor, with founder Dusty Johnson retaining significant ownership and remaining active in management. Hastings said the investment will provide resources to grow GridSource’s telecom and gas infrastructure services to capitalize on accelerating broadband/fiber deployment and upcoming federal funding for broadband.

GridSource, a portfolio company of Hastings Equity Partners, has acquired B. Robinson, Inc., a Leander, Texas-based fiber optic construction and communications infrastructure contractor. The deal, which closed February 18, 2025, adds micro-trenching capability to GridSource's service offering and expands its coverage in Texas; the combined company will operate more than 1,000 employees across 39 locations.

Accelerated Communications and Construction Acquires QCFS Management Group

Pensacola-based QCFS Management Group, Inc., a provider of aerial and underground fiber and cable installation and maintenance services, was acquired by Gulf Breeze-based Accelerated Communications and Construction, LLC. Bravaldo Capital Advisors served as exclusive sell-side advisor; the owners sought a buyer that would preserve employee welfare and continue QCFS’s service mission.

Concentric Provides Growth Financing to One Source Communications; One Source Acquires SUMO Technologies
