Nautic Partners, LLC has completed the acquisition of LindFast Solutions Group in partnership with LindFast management. LindFast, headquartered in Blaine, Minnesota, is a master distributor of specialty fasteners offering a deep virtual inventory (~130,000 SKUs) and value‑added services; Nautic plans to support organic growth, cross‑selling and selective add‑on acquisitions. Financing for the transaction was provided by Ally Financial and GSO Capital Partners.

Carlson Private Capital Partners Acquires LindFast Solutions Group

Carlson Private Capital Partners closed its first investment by acquiring LindFast Solutions Group, a master distributor of specialty fasteners headquartered in Blaine, Minnesota. LindFast (formerly Lindstrom), which includes the Stelfast imperial fasteners business and a deep inventory of ~130,000 SKUs across North America, will serve as Carlson’s platform in the specialty fastener distribution market.

LindFast Solutions Group Acquires Hi-Q Fasteners

LindFast Solutions Group (a Nautic Partners portfolio company) has acquired Hi-Q Fasteners, a Santa Fe Springs, California-based provider of sems, thread-forming and machine screws, spacers, standoffs and self-clinching hardware. The deal, completed December 27, 2023, is an add-on to LindFast's platform intended to expand product capabilities and leverage LindFast's supply chain and distribution network across North America.

MiddleGround Capital Acquires The L.S. Starrett Company

An affiliate of MiddleGround Capital completed the acquisition of The L.S. Starrett Company, taking the 144-year-old precision tools and metrology manufacturer private. Under the deal, former Starrett shareholders received $16.19 per share; MiddleGround says it will support Starrett in scaling its geographic reach and expanding product offerings.
