Monomoy Capital Partners Acquires Mac Papers, Inc.

Monomoy Capital Partners, a private equity firm, has acquired Mac Papers, Inc., Mac Paper Converters, Inc. and All Square Digital Solutions, Inc., a leading regional distributor of paper, packaging, envelopes and wide-format products headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. Mac Papers operates across the Southeastern United States with approximately $600 million in annual sales and roughly 950 employees; Monomoy said it will partner with management to grow the business and advance strategic and operational initiatives.

Monomoy Capital Partners has acquired Oliver Packaging and Equipment, a Walker, Michigan–based manufacturer of food packaging systems, bakery equipment and compostable/recyclable meal trays and films. Oliver will continue to be led by CEO Mitch Summerfield and will operate as an independent platform with Monomoy supporting organic growth and pursuing strategic add-on acquisitions to expand products, customers and end markets.

Envoy Solutions Acquires Mooney-General Paper Co.

The deal expands Envoy Solutions' footprint and capabilities in the densely populated Northeast, giving Mooney-General access to a national platform and broader product portfolio.

48forty Solutions Acquires Dependable Pallet Logistics

Specialized Packaging Group Acquires Protective Packaging Solutions

Specialized Packaging Group (a portfolio company of Altamont Capital Partners) has acquired Protective Packaging Solutions (PPS), a custom designer and fabricator of engineered protective packaging based in Aurora, Colorado. The acquisition expands SPG's engineered packaging capabilities and geographic reach, adding approximately 90 employees to SPG's ~1,600-person workforce; Monroe Capital provided a senior credit facility to support the transaction.
