Equity Group Investments Partners with East Coast Warehouse

Equity Group Investments (EGI), Sam Zell's private investment firm, announced an investment in East Coast Warehouse (ECW), a temperature-controlled third-party logistics provider. The partnership will provide capital for add-on acquisitions and strategic support as ECW expands into new geographies; ECW's senior management will remain in place and retain an ownership stake. Terms were not disclosed.

The deal, which included equity and subordinated debt and involved ASW management as co-investors, funds growth initiatives and addresses founder succession while keeping the existing leadership team in place.
