The acquisition aims to expand Autodesk’s construction workflow automation and analytics capabilities—accelerating submittals, closeouts and other critical construction processes.

PTC Acquires SaaS PLM Provider Arena Solutions

Advantive, a mission-critical software provider for specialty manufacturing and distribution businesses, has acquired Proplanner, a provider of assembly-focused Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The acquisition adds Proplanner’s Assembly Planner, Shop Floor MES, and Flow Planner capabilities to Advantive’s ERP, MES and SPC portfolio to strengthen its assembly-focused manufacturing solutions and improve shop-floor planning, work-instruction generation, and traceability for customers across aerospace, automotive and heavy manufacturing.

Ansys Acquires OnScale to Expand Cloud Simulation Portfolio

Ansys has signed a definitive agreement to acquire cloud simulation provider OnScale to extend its cloud-native portfolio with OnScale’s web-based user interface and cloud simulation framework. The acquisition will integrate OnScale’s technology into Ansys’ existing cloud offerings to provide device-independent, web-based access to Ansys simulation capabilities; terms were not disclosed.

PTC Acquires Onshape

The deal is expected to close in Autodesk’s fourth quarter of fiscal 2022 and is intended to expand Autodesk Construction Cloud’s preconstruction offerings and improve end-to-end cost visibility for construction teams.
