Sweden-based Lindab has signed an agreement to acquire Vicon, a US manufacturer of machines for rectangular ventilation ducts, boosting Lindab's US sales more than threefold and doubling its global duct-machinery sales. Vicon (headquartered in Bohemia, New York, with production in Pevely, Missouri and Meadville, Pennsylvania) has approximately SEK 260 million in annual sales and 64 employees; the acquisition is to be financed with Lindab's own funds and is expected to close in Q1 2024.
