Sciens Water has acquired Crom LLC, a Gainesville, Florida-based designer, builder and maintainer of prestressed concrete water and wastewater tanks, from MSouth Equity Partners. The acquisition expands Sciens Water’s water infrastructure platform and capabilities serving municipal and industrial customers across the U.S. southeast.

CROM Acquires CFG Industries

CROM, a Frontenac-backed water infrastructure platform, has acquired Houston-headquartered CFG Industries to expand its Texas footprint and add specialty infrastructure capabilities including protective coatings, structural repairs, underground utilities, lift station rehabilitation, and custom fabrication. David Cadriel will remain with the business as General Manager and Vice President of CROM CFG to ensure continuity for customers and employees.

Frontenac Company Acquires Newterra Group Ltd.

Frontenac Company has acquired Newterra Group Ltd., a global designer, engineer, manufacturer and servicer of modular water and wastewater treatment systems, from existing shareholders including XPV Water Partners and Angeleno Group. Financial terms were not disclosed; Newterra's CEO Tom Vossman and the executive team will remain in place and Jim McGivern will join the board as Frontenac supports the company's continued organic and inorganic growth.

Frontenac Acquires Majority Stake in Crofter's Organic

Edgewater Capital Partners Acquires GL CHEMTEC

Edgewater will support GLC's expansion of API development, scale-up and advanced materials capabilities to accelerate growth across North American pharma and life-sciences customers.

Integrated Water Services and Sciens Water Acquire Hyperion International Technologies

Integrated Water Services, in partnership with Sciens Water Opportunities Management (an affiliate of Sciens Capital), acquired 100% of Hyperion International Technologies, a control-systems and engineering services provider for water and wastewater markets. The deal expands IWS’s product and digital services capabilities in modular MBR and wastewater reuse technologies; Hyperion’s General Manager Scott Johnson will lead the business as Al Ouchie transitions to retirement.
