Frontenac Company Acquires Newterra Group Ltd.

Frontenac Company has acquired Newterra Group Ltd., a global designer, engineer, manufacturer and servicer of modular water and wastewater treatment systems, from existing shareholders including XPV Water Partners and Angeleno Group. Financial terms were not disclosed; Newterra's CEO Tom Vossman and the executive team will remain in place and Jim McGivern will join the board as Frontenac supports the company's continued organic and inorganic growth.

Evoqua Water Technologies Acquires Frontier Water Systems

Evoqua Water Technologies purchased the remaining equity of San Diego-based Frontier Water Systems, completing its acquisition after an initial majority investment in 2019. Frontenac, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has acquired Prime Technology Group, a Wayne, Pennsylvania-headquartered provider of outsourced application development and managed software solutions, from Renovus Capital Partners. Balance Point Capital provided a bespoke debt and equity financing package to support Frontenac's acquisition; financial terms were not disclosed. Frontenac said it will invest in strategic growth initiatives, talent and complementary software development capabilities to accelerate Prime's platform maturation and market penetration in healthcare, insurance and financial services.
