Grundfos Acquires Newterra

Danish water solutions leader Grundfos has acquired Newterra, a Pittsburgh-area designer and manufacturer of water and wastewater treatment systems, to strengthen its water treatment capabilities and expand its presence in North America. The deal boosts Grundfos' water treatment workforce in Europe and North America and supports its goal to grow its US business.

Evoqua Water Technologies Acquires Frontier Water Systems

Evoqua Water Technologies purchased the remaining equity of San Diego-based Frontier Water Systems, completing its acquisition after an initial majority investment in 2019. Frontier, a supplier of modular bioreactor engineered equipment for removal of selenium, nitrate and metals from industrial wastewater, will expand Evoqua’s advanced wastewater treatment capabilities; terms were not disclosed.
