Accenture has acquired True North Solutions, an industrial engineering and operational-technology (OT) specialist headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. The acquisition adds roughly 95 automation, instrumentation and electrical engineering experts to Accenture’s Industry X and Resources teams to strengthen OT, industrial automation, enterprise asset management and OT cybersecurity capabilities for energy and mining clients.

Accenture has completed its acquisition of Analytics8, an Australian big data and analytics consultancy founded in 2002. The Analytics8 team of about 70 professionals in Melbourne and Sydney will join Accenture Applied Intelligence to bolster Accenture's AI-powered data and advanced analytics capabilities across Australia and New Zealand; terms were not disclosed.

Accenture Acquires IQT Group

Accenture has agreed to acquire IQT Group, an Italy-based provider of engineering managed services for large infrastructure and net-zero projects. The acquisition brings IQT's more than 450 consultants and engineers into Accenture's infrastructure and capital projects practice to strengthen capabilities for electricity, water and telecom infrastructure, energy efficiency and net-zero program delivery in Italy and Europe.

Accenture Acquires Insight Sourcing

Accenture has agreed to acquire Insight Sourcing, an Atlanta-based provider of strategic sourcing and procurement services, including its energy procurement business Insight Energy. The deal will add roughly 220 sourcing consultants and a suite of procurement technology tools to Accenture’s Sourcing & Procurement practice to strengthen its capabilities for private equity and corporate clients across consumer goods, retail, technology and industrial sectors.

Accenture Acquires Comtech Group

Accenture has acquired Comtech Group, a Toronto-based consulting and program management firm that supports large infrastructure and capital projects across Canada and the United States. The acquisition (terms undisclosed) expands Accenture’s capital projects and Industry X capabilities in Canada, adding approximately 300 Comtech employees and expertise in construction management, facility and manufacturing engineering, and process control automation.

Accenture Acquires SKS Group

Accenture has completed its acquisition of SKS Group, a Germany-based consulting firm that helps banks across Germany, Austria and Switzerland modernize technology and meet regulatory requirements using SAP S/4HANA. Approximately 500 SKS Group professionals join Accenture Technology; financial terms were not disclosed.
