RealDefense LLC, a Pasadena-based consumer security and productivity software company, has acquired Support.com from Greenidge Generation Holdings, Inc. The deal transfers Support.com's customer base, call center operations, remote IT support technology (including Guided Paths) and related domains to RealDefense as part of the buyer's roll-up strategy to expand its service offerings.

RealDefense, a security software holding company, has acquired STOPzilla, a consumer anti-malware and privacy product founded in 2001 with over two million active customers. Corbel Capital Partners partnered on the transaction to provide financing support; terms were not disclosed.
