University of Virginia Health System Acquires Piedmont Family Practice (Warrenton)

The University of Virginia Health System (UVA Health) has agreed to acquire Warrenton-based Piedmont Family Practice, adding the clinic's family medicine, urgent care, bariatric/metabolic weight-loss services and medical laboratory to its network. The deal — which retains the practice's roughly 90 staff, including seven physicians and 17 nurse practitioners/physician assistants — advances UVA Health's strategy to build a statewide health system and expand its Northern Virginia footprint.

SportsMed Physical Therapy Acquires WeCare Medical PT and Wellness (Maplewood, NJ)

WellNow Urgent Care Acquires Physicians Immediate Care

MedStar Health Acquires Righttime Medical Care

The transaction marks Seacoast Capital's exit from a non-control growth investment it made in Righttime in 2015 after the company grew revenue ~16% and EBITDA ~157% during the investment period.

HCA Healthcare Acquires MD Now Urgent Care
