Omnicell, Inc. acquired pharmacy software and patient engagement provider MarkeTouch Media, LLC for $82 million in cash. The deal expands Omnicell’s EnlivenHealth footprint in the retail and specialty pharmacy markets and adds MarkeTouch’s mobile/web-based SaaS patient engagement capabilities to accelerate Omnicell’s SaaS roadmap.

Perficient Acquires SMEDIX, Inc.

Perficient, Inc. has acquired SMEDIX, Inc., a San Diego-based healthcare software engineering firm with offshore operations in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The deal (announced Oct 20, 2023) adds ~175 employees and ~$12M in revenue to Perficient, expanding its healthcare software development capabilities and Eastern Europe delivery capacity; the parties targeted closing in January 2024 and the transaction was completed in January 2024.

Nextech Acquires TouchMD

The deal integrates TouchMD’s patient-facing touchscreen and marketing capabilities into Nextech’s EHR and practice management platform to enhance both the digital and in-person patient and clinical experience for specialty practices.

Perficient Acquires Stone Temple Consulting

TouchPoint Acquires InterMetro's Health Care Technology Business

TouchPoint has acquired the Health Care Technology business of InterMetro Industries and formed a new platform, TouchPoint Medical, that combines the acquired product lines with TouchPoint's existing medical technology businesses. LymphaTech co-founders joined Tactile to support commercial adoption and R&D as Tactile integrates the company’s 3D measurement and monitoring platform into its portfolio.
