Hoffmann Family of Companies Acquires Olympus Limo

Hoffmann Family of Companies has acquired Olympus Limo, a Tampa Bay-based luxury ground transportation provider that serves individual travelers, corporate clients and large events across more than 350 cities. The deal adds Olympus to Hoffmann's Aviation & Transportation vertical (Hoffmann Transportation Group) and is intended to expand the firm's luxury transportation footprint and accelerate growth while preserving Olympus's service standards.

Shepler's Ferry Inc., the family-owned operator of ferry services to Mackinac Island, has entered a partnership with The Hoffmann Family of Companies. Greenwich Capital Group served as exclusive financial advisor to Shepler's in the transaction, which transfers ownership/partnership interest from the third-generation Shepler family to the Hoffmann family to ensure continuity of service and stewardship of the business.

Hoffmann Family of Companies Acquires Doonan Specialized Trailer

Hoffmann Family of Companies (HF Companies) has acquired Doonan Specialized Trailer, LLC, a custom semi-trailer manufacturer headquartered in Great Bend, Kansas. The acquisition expands HF Companies' transportation vertical and builds on its prior purchase of Texas Bragg Trailers, with Doonan's existing management remaining in place to support continuity.

Heniff Transportation Systems Acquires Hagen Johnson Group

Heniff Transportation Systems has acquired Janesville, Wisconsin–based Hagen Johnson Group, adding Hagen Johnson’s food-grade tank truck fleet, kosher tank-cleaning operation, and liquid freight brokerage to Heniff’s corresponding divisions. Terms were not disclosed; the deal excludes Reedsburg-based Korth Transfer. Heniff said the acquisition will support continued growth, technology investment and improved services for customers.

TFI International Acquires JHT Holdings

TFI International agreed to acquire JHT Holdings, an asset-light North American logistics and transportation provider that specializes in transporting Class 6-8 trucks from OEMs to dealers and end customers. JHT, based in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, operates a 25-terminal network (8 owned), generates more than US$500 million in annual revenue, and is expected to close in the third quarter subject to customary adjustments.

Hoffmann Family of Companies Acquires Derby Fabricating Solutions

Hoffmann Family of Companies, a family-owned private equity firm, has acquired Derby Fabricating Solutions, a manufacturer of die-cut nonmetallic materials and NVH components serving automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and the appliance industry. Derby operates four Midwest production facilities (Louisville and Cadiz, Kentucky; Sidney, Ohio; Rockford, Michigan) and is IATF 16949 certified; the transaction strengthens Hoffmann's manufacturing vertical and expands its capabilities in automotive component fabrication.
