PAI Partners to Acquire Majority Stake in Infra Group

PAI Partners has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Infra Group, a Belgium-headquartered multi-disciplinary network infrastructure services provider. The investment will make PAI the largest shareholder alongside existing investors ICG, Andera Partners and the management team, and will support Infra Group's growth strategy to accelerate expansion organically and via complementary acquisitions.

Madison Energy Infrastructure completed the acquisition of NextEra Energy Resources' distributed generation development platform, including operating solar and energy storage assets, a development pipeline and customers across 25 states. The deal brings Madison's ecosystem to nearly 1 GW of operating clean energy infrastructure and expands its commercial and community customer footprint while leveraging recent financing and support from EQT and other capital partners.

Macquarie Asset Management Acquires 50% Stake in Last Mile Infrastructure Group from Infracapital

Macquarie Asset Management (via Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 7) has acquired a 50% stake in Last Mile Infrastructure Group from Infracapital, with Infracapital retaining the remaining 50%. Last Mile, one of the UK’s largest independent network owners that designs, builds, owns and operates last-mile electricity, gas, water and wastewater networks, will benefit from the partnership to support growth and energy-transition opportunities across the UK. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals.

MidOcean Partners Acquires SI Solutions

MidOcean Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, has acquired SI Solutions, a provider of engineering, testing, inspection, compliance, maintenance and digital solutions for power and critical infrastructure. SI Solutions (more than 450 employees) will remain led by CEO Mark Marano; management, employee shareholders and prior investor Jumana Capital have reinvested in the business. Terms were not disclosed.

Thomas H. Lee Partners Acquires Majority Stake in AbacusNext

Funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners (THL) have acquired a majority stake in AbacusNext from growth equity firm PSG. AbacusNext, a vertical cloud/SaaS provider for legal, accounting and compliance-focused professionals, will remain led by CEO Scott Johnson and will partner with THL to accelerate product investment, integrated payment capabilities and pursue strategic acquisitions.
