The acquisition is an add-on to Element's life sciences buildout, expanding its pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical testing capabilities across North America and Europe.

Element Materials Technology Acquires CTK Co., Ltd. in South Korea

Element Materials Technology has acquired CTK Co., Ltd., a South Korea–based testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) specialist focused on EMC, wireless, product safety and certification. The deal expands Element’s presence and testing capacity in Korea—adding CTK’s ~140 employees, multiple specialized test chambers and a new 4,400 m² Unhak 2 testing centre—to enhance connected technologies and mobility testing capabilities in the region.

Temasek Acquires Element Materials Technology from Bridgepoint

Element Materials Technology, a London-headquartered testing, inspection and certification provider, has acquired Arch Sciences Group, a specialist analytical services and laboratory solutions provider to the pharmaceuticals sector. The deal (which sees Limerston Capital exit its investment in Arch) brings Element a team of ~170 employees across five locations and establishes Element's entry into the European pharmaceutical market, expanding its life sciences capabilities.

Element Materials Technology acquired Nanosyn, a San Francisco Bay Area-based contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) focused on drug discovery and small-batch API manufacturing, to strengthen Element’s pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceutical services in North America. Nanosyn operates three Bay Area facilities and has a team of more than 75 scientists, and the deal expands Element’s end-to-end life sciences capabilities from discovery through clinical development and regulatory support.

The acquisition expands Element's North American life sciences capabilities—adding expertise in formulation chemistry, extractables & leachables, and large-molecule testing—and comes after High Street Capital's five-year partnership that grew Avomeen's technical bench and revenues.
