BRP Group Acquires Performance Bonding Surety & Insurance Brokerage

BRP Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BRP) announced that Performance Bonding Surety & Insurance Brokerage, L.P. will be operated within the BRP family through BRP's Partnership (strategic acquisition) with Wood Gutmann & Bogart Insurance Brokers and certain affiliates, a transaction that closed on December 1, 2021. Performance Bonding, a Tustin, California–based surety specialist, will add bonding and commercial insurance expertise to BRP's national practice and expand BRP's surety capabilities for clients including contractors, developers and private equity–owned businesses.

BRP Group Acquires Burnham Benefits and Burnham Gibson Wealth Advisors

BRP Group, through its middle-market subsidiary Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners (BKS-Partners), agreed to acquire Burnham Benefits Insurance Services, Inc. and Burnham Gibson Wealth Advisors, Inc., expanding BRP's footprint in Southern California and adding approximately $52.6 million of annualized revenue and ~130 colleagues. The transaction brings wealth management capabilities (BGWA with nearly $2.5 billion AUM) into BRP's middle-market operating group and is expected to close on December 31, 2020, subject to customary closing conditions.
