BRP Group Acquires Wood Gutmann & Bogart Insurance Brokers

BRP Group, Inc., through certain indirect subsidiaries including Burnham Benefits Insurance Services, entered into an agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of Wood Gutmann & Bogart Insurance Brokers (WGB), a Tustin, California-based insurance brokerage with approximately $29.7 million of annual revenue. The deal, announced November 4, 2021 and completed December 1, 2021, expands BRP Group's commercial risk management and employee benefits capabilities and represents another "Partnership" for the public insurance distributor.

(NASDAQ: BRP) announced that Performance Bonding Surety & Insurance Brokerage, L.P. will be operated within the BRP family through BRP's Partnership (strategic acquisition) with Wood Gutmann & Bogart Insurance Brokers and certain affiliates, a transaction that closed on December 1, 2021. Performance Bonding, a Tustin, California–based surety specialist, will add bonding and commercial insurance expertise to BRP's national practice and expand BRP's surety capabilities for clients including contractors, developers and private equity–owned businesses.

The Baldwin Group (via Westwood) Acquires Hippo’s Homebuilder Distribution Network

The Baldwin Group’s indirect subsidiary, Westwood Insurance Agency, completed the acquisition of the homebuilder distribution network previously owned and operated by Hippo Holdings, Inc. The transaction was reported by industry outlets at roughly $100 million and is intended to expand Baldwin/Westwood’s builder-distribution capabilities and commercial relationships with Hippo.

BRP Group Acquires K&S Insurance Agency (White Hill Plaza, Inc.)

(Baldwin Risk Partners) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of White Hill Plaza, Inc., which operates as K&S Insurance Agency, a Dallas, Texas-based insurance agency with approximately $19.7 million in annual revenue. The acquisition expands BRP Group's presence in Texas—adding construction-focused risk management expertise in the Dallas–Fort Worth market—and is expected to close around October 1, 2021, subject to customary conditions.

BRP Group Acquires Jacobson, Goldfarb & Scott (JGS)

BRP Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BRP) has entered into an agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of Jacobson, Goldfarb & Scott, Inc. (JGS), a Holmdel, New Jersey-based specialty insurance broker and MGA. The transaction adds approximately $43.3 million of revenue and ~130 colleagues to BRP Group and expands its specialty and middle-market commercial insurance capabilities, particularly in habitational real estate, construction and manufacturing & distribution.

BRP Group Acquires Insgroup, Inc.

BRP Group, through its middle‑market subsidiary BKS Partners, agreed to acquire all outstanding equity of Insgroup, Inc., a Houston‑based commercial P&C and employee benefits brokerage with approximately $38.51 million of annualized revenues and ~160 employees. The deal expands BRP Group's middle‑market presence in Texas (notably Houston) and brings Insgroup's leadership team, including CEO Brian Kapiloff, into BRP's regional management structure.
