TimePayment Acquires Wheaten Financial

TimePayment, a Boston-based FinTech owned by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group, has acquired Wheaten Financial, a specialist equipment finance company focused on commercial and titled vehicles. Wheaten will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary out of its Irvine, California headquarters with founder Aimee McChurch remaining in place; the deal expands TimePayment’s capabilities in the specialty vehicle and titled equipment verticals as an add-on to its platform.
