Schneider Electric Acquires 75% Stake in Motivair Corp

Schneider Electric has acquired a 75% stake in Buffalo-based liquid-cooling specialist Motivair Corp in an all-cash transaction reported at $850 million. Schneider has an option to buy the remaining 25% by 2028; the move expands Schneider’s data-center thermal management capabilities and completes its planned data-center acquisitions for the near term.

Lincoln Electric Acquires Vanair Manufacturing

Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. has acquired Vanair Manufacturing, LLC, a Michigan City, Indiana-based maker of vehicle-mounted mobile power solutions including compressors, generators, welders, hydraulics and chargers. The deal (Vanair ~ $100M revenue) expands Lincoln Electric's product and channel capabilities into the service-truck market and will be reported in its Americas Welding segment.

Tavoron Acquires Arkansas Industrial Machinery (AIM)

The add-on strengthens Tavoron's service network by bringing AIM's compressor, pump, and fluid-handling distribution, repair, and rental capabilities into the platform.

Allied Motion Technologies Acquires Airex, LLC

Allied Motion Technologies (Nasdaq: AMOT) has acquired Airex, LLC, a 70-year-old Somersworth, New Hampshire manufacturer of high-precision electromagnetic components and motors. The acquisition expands Allied Motion's motor and electromagnetic product offerings and supports key end markets including defense, life sciences, semiconductor and other industrial applications; financial terms were not disclosed.

IMG Companies Acquires Altair Technologies

IMG Companies, LLC acquired Altair Technologies, Inc. and concurrently recapitalized the company with management and private equity firm Addison Capital Partners. The acquisition brings Altair's furnace brazing, high-vacuum component manufacturing and metallurgical engineering capabilities into the IMG platform to expand capabilities across aerospace, defense, semiconductor and medical device end markets.

Ouellet Group Acquires Innovair Corporation

Ouellet Group, a Quebec-based designer and manufacturer of electric heating and cooling products, has acquired Innovair Corporation, a Miami-based manufacturer and distributor of air conditioning equipment. The deal enables Ouellet to expand into the U.S. market and accelerate growth in the air-conditioning segment while Innovair will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary with existing management remaining in place.
