Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Mitec, an Atlanta-based fire and property protection company founded in 1989. The acquisition (Mitec had about 140 employees) expands Pye-Barker's presence across the Southeast and into new markets while adding Mitec's inspection, testing and systems-integration capabilities.
