EverGen Infrastructure Acquires 67% Interest in GrowTEC (Grow the Energy Circle Ltd.)

EverGen Infrastructure Corp. completed the acquisition of a 67% interest in Grow the Energy Circle Ltd. ("GrowTEC"), a farm-scale biogas facility near Lethbridge, Alberta, for cash consideration and equity. The transaction brings an operating anaerobic digester into EverGen’s Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) platform as the project is upgraded to produce pipeline-quality RNG under an offtake agreement with FortisBC.

The add-on expands TransTech’s biogas engineering, construction, operations and maintenance capabilities and strengthens its West Coast presence while ENERGYneering’s president Benny Benson will retain an ownership stake and remain as president.

H.I.G. Infrastructure Acquires Controlling Interest in Northern Biogas

H.I.G. Capital’s infrastructure arm, H.I.G. Infrastructure, has acquired a controlling interest in Northern Biogas, a Morgantown, West Virginia–based waste-to-renewable natural gas company that develops, builds, owns and operates anaerobic digester and RNG facilities. The investment will support Northern Biogas’ development pipeline of dairy, landfill and food-waste RNG projects across the U.S. as the company scales its construction, operations and service capabilities.

Gibraltar Industries Acquires Assets of Thermo Energy Systems
