Axxence Corporation Acquires Purely Natural

Axxence Corporation has acquired Purely Natural, a Florida-based supplier of natural flavor ingredients, taking ownership of the company's shares, operations, intellectual property and customer relationships. The deal supports Axxence's U.S. expansion and strengthens its commercial capabilities, with Purely Natural's president and CEO Bob Kleinhenz joining Axxence as commercial executive vice president.

TruFood Manufacturing Acquires Simply Natural Foods

AOG, LLC d/b/a TruFood Manufacturing, backed by AUA Private Equity Partners, has acquired Simply Natural Foods, a contract manufacturer of nutrition bars and confectionery. Simply Natural Foods will operate as TruFood going forward; the company is headquartered in Commack, New York and has approximately 200 employees. Financial terms were not disclosed.

AMCON Distributing Company Acquires Henry's Foods, Inc.

AMCON Distributing Company (NYSE American: DIT) has acquired Henry's Foods, Inc., a foodservice and convenience-store distributor based in Alexandria, Minnesota. Henry's will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary led by President Kellie Janssen, with the acquisition intended to add foodservice capabilities and broader geographic reach to AMCON's convenience distribution platform.

Adams Flavors Acquires Goodman's Vanilla

Adams Flavors, Foods & Ingredients, a portfolio company backed by Midwest Growth Partners and partners, completed the acquisition of Goodman's Vanilla (Goodman's Flavorings) on September 29–30, 2024. Goodman's, a Marshfield, Missouri manufacturer of vanillas, flavor extracts and colors, is Adams' first add-on and will support regional expansion of Adams' branded products and the addition of spice offerings under the Goodman's banner.

Innovative Food Holdings, Inc. (IVFH) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the assets of Golden Organics, LLC for $1.75 million ($1.4M cash and a $350k five-year seller note). Golden Organics, a Denver/Golden, Colorado-based specialty organic food distributor with ~$6.8M trailing-twelve-month revenue and a 22,000 sq. ft. leased warehouse, will expand IVFH's product assortment, sourcing capabilities and customer base across foodservice, manufacturing and retail channels.
