Brinks Home Security (Monitronics International, Inc.) purchased approximately 38,000 alarm monitoring accounts (about 30,000 residential/small business and 8,000 commercial) from Select Security. The deal transfers customer accounts, many Select Security field and support employees, and certain office locations to Brinks as part of its strategy to acquire profitable accounts at scale.
