Data Dimensions Acquires WorkCompEDI

Data Dimensions has completed the acquisition of WorkCompEDI, combining WorkCompEDI’s P&C EDI clearinghouse capabilities with Data Dimensions’ automation and payments solutions. The combined business will operate under the Data Dimensions brand; WorkCompEDI co-founder Marc Menendez will join Data Dimensions as Chief Solutions Officer & General Manager of EDI Services. Data Dimensions is a portfolio company of Thompson Street Capital Partners.

Andersen Corporation Acquires Bright Wood Corporation

Andersen Corporation agreed to acquire Bright Wood Corporation, the largest independent manufacturer of window and patio door components and engineered dimensional lumber, in a strategic purchase to strengthen its supply chain and support industry partnerships. Bright Wood — headquartered in Madras, Oregon, with more than 1,000 employees across 28 processing plants — will continue to operate under local leadership with Andersen participating at board and executive governance levels.

The transaction, facilitated by Viking Mergers & Acquisitions, was completed to allow New Dimensions to join a larger, diversified platform and expand its service offerings and geographic reach.

Ingersoll Rand Acquires Air Dimensions Inc.

Ingersoll Rand Inc. agreed to acquire Air Dimensions Inc. for $70.5 million in an all-cash transaction that closed Oct. 29, 2021, adding the vacuum diaphragm pump maker to its Precision and Science Technologies segment. Air Dimensions, a family‑owned manufacturer based in Deerfield Beach, Florida, supplies pumps for emission monitoring, biogas, utility and chemical processes; owners Greg and David English plan to retire after a transition period.
