KKR and Skip (Skip Capital) Acquire Controlling Stake in Queensland Airports Limited

A consortium led by global investment firm KKR and the Skip Essential Infrastructure Fund (linked to Skip Capital) agreed to acquire a combined 74.25% interest in Queensland Airports Limited (QAL) from The Infrastructure Fund (managed by Macquarie Asset Management), State Super and Australian Retirement Trust. QAL operates Gold Coast, Townsville, Mount Isa and Longreach airports; the transaction transfers control of these regional airport assets to KKR and Skip as part of an infrastructure investment play.
