CVC to Merge with Glendower Capital to Create Secondaries Platform

CVC Capital Partners has agreed to merge with and acquire Glendower Capital to establish a strategic partnership focused on private equity secondaries, creating a combined group with approximately €113 billion in assets under management. Glendower will continue to operate under its name with its management team in place; the deal is subject to regulatory consents and was expected to close in Q4 2021 (financial terms undisclosed).
