JLL Partners has acquired PowerParts Group, a precision manufacturer and field-services provider of aftermarket components for gas- and steam-turbine power plants, from Mangrove Equity Partners. JLL intends to use PowerParts Group as the foundation of a new engineering-focused power-generation components platform and plans to expand capacity and capabilities through organic investment and strategic acquisitions.

American Pacific Group Acquires Spark Power Group Inc.

Thermogenics Acquires Pyro Combustion & Controls

Thermogenics, a North American boiler lifecycle solutions provider headquartered in Aurora, Ontario, has acquired Pyro Combustion & Controls Inc., a Las Vegas–based boiler service company. The transaction expands Thermogenics' U.S. Southwest footprint and adds local combustion, controls, piping and 24/7 service capabilities to its platform while Pyro will continue to operate under its current name.

Nichols Portland, Inc. Acquires Assets of Alpha Precision Group, LLC

Nichols Portland, Inc., a portfolio company of Altus Capital Partners, acquired the assets of Alpha Precision Group, LLC (APG). APG is a diversified metal-forming manufacturer (powder metallurgy, metal injection molding, additive manufacturing and precision valve assemblies) headquartered in St. Marys, Pennsylvania, with five plants across Pennsylvania and Michigan and over 400 employees; financial terms were not disclosed.
