Brown & Brown Acquires Kentro Capital Limited (Nexus Underwriting & Xenia Broking)

Brown & Brown, Inc. has entered into an agreement to acquire Kentro Capital Limited, the London-based insurance group that operates Nexus Underwriting, Xenia Broking and other specialty insurance businesses. The deal, which adds more than £500 million of gross written premium and a team of 350+ insurance professionals, is expected to close in Q4 2023 pending regulatory approvals and will expand Brown & Brown's specialty underwriting and trade credit capabilities in the U.K., Western Europe and global markets.
