Accenture Acquires Advocate Networks from Spire Capital

Accenture has acquired Advocate Networks, a Technology Business Management (TBM) consultancy and managed services provider, from majority owner Spire Capital Partners. Advocate's ~85-person team and TBM capabilities will join Accenture's Technology Strategy & Advisory practice to expand its TBM, FinOps and cloud/digital transformation offerings. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Spire Capital has made a growth investment in The Inception Company, a Fairfield, New Jersey-based provider of virtual engagement platforms and production services, to support expansion of studios, product development, sales and marketing, and complementary acquisitions. Founder Doug Mack will move to a board role while Spire partners will join the company's board; Santander provided debt financing and Intrepid acted as Inception's financial advisor.

The capital will support ERI's cloud-based technology platform, expand its client footprint and enable growth through new service offerings and strategic acquisitions while CEO Nathan Vander Griend remains in place.

Teleperformance Acquires Health Advocate

Teleperformance has acquired Health Advocate, a US-based consumer health management and digital solutions provider, from Intrado Corporation (a portfolio company of funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management). The deal values Health Advocate at an enterprise value of US$690 million and strengthens Teleperformance’s Specialized Services in the US healthcare market by adding subscription-based navigation, advocacy and wellbeing solutions.
