Spire Capital Majority Recapitalizes DBI and Merges It with ERI Solutions

Spire Capital Partners completed a majority recapitalization investment in DBI (DBI Group / DBI, Inc.), a Lenexa, Kansas-based provider of nondestructive testing, mechanical integrity and pipeline inspection services. Spire simultaneously merged DBI with its existing portfolio company ERI Solutions to create a larger U.S. testing, inspection, certification and compliance services platform led by ERI's CEO.

ERI Solutions (Spire Capital Portfolio) Acquires BLOC Environmental Solutions

BLOC will operate as a division of ERI under its existing brand, with all BLOC owners and staff joining ERI to expand ERI's service offering and geographic footprint.

ICV Partners Acquires Environmental Remedies (ERI)

An affiliate of Sun Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of Environmental Infrastructure Solutions (EIS), a Fort Worth-based provider of abatement, decontamination and remediation services, from O2 Investment Partners. Sun Capital said it will apply its industrial and buy-and-build expertise to accelerate EIS's growth, expand service capabilities and capitalize on growing demand for environmental safety and infrastructure remediation.
