Nefab Group, through its U.S. arm Nefab Packaging, Inc., has acquired Plastiform, Inc. and its subsidiary Precision Formed Plastics, Inc., a Texas-based thermoforming and cushioning manufacturer. The deal strengthens Nefab's thermoforming capabilities and sustainable packaging offering in the Americas, supporting end markets such as datacom/cloud, telecom/semicon and healthcare equipment.

Foam Fabricators Acquires Substantially All Assets of Polyfoam Corp.

Foam Fabricators, a Compass Diversified Holdings-backed packaging platform, has acquired substantially all of the assets of Massachusetts-based Polyfoam Corp., expanding Foam Fabricators' protective and temperature-sensitive packaging capabilities and geographic footprint. The deal adds Polyfoam's cold-chain and injection-molded plastic capabilities and enables cross-selling to national customers while Foam Fabricators also announced a partnership with Rational Packaging and commercialization of a biodegradable EPS product.

Tekni-Plex Acquires Assets and Technologies of Fibro Corporation

Tekni-Plex has acquired the assets and licensed technologies of Fibro Corporation, a Tacoma, Washington-based molded-fiber packaging developer, and folded the resources into its Dolco Packaging business. The acquisition expands Tekni-Plex's pulp-based and sustainable packaging capabilities for fresh food applications, enabling broader product offerings beyond egg cartons and meat trays.

PPC Flexible Packaging Acquires Custom Poly Bag, Inc.

PPC Flexible Packaging LLC, a Buffalo Grove, Illinois-based flexible packaging manufacturer, has acquired Custom Poly Bag, Inc., a family-owned flexible packaging converter based in Alliance, Ohio. The deal expands PPC's manufacturing footprint and capabilities in film extrusion, printing and bag operations, and is the latest add-on in PPC's multi-year acquisition strategy.

Novolex Acquires Flexo Converters USA, Inc.

Novolex, a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group, has acquired Flexo Converters USA, Inc., a family-owned manufacturer of stock, custom and recycled paper bags and sacks headquartered in Meriden, Connecticut, with an additional plant in Monroe, Georgia. Flexo's products will be sold under the Novolex Duro Bag brand and the acquisition adds production capacity to support rising demand from foodservice and grocery customers; eligible full‑time Flexo employees will join Novolex.

Schur Flexibles Group Acquires Termoplast S.r.L.

Schur Flexibles Group has acquired 100% of Termoplast S.r.L., an Italian producer of 100% recyclable MDO-PE films and operator of an on-site recycling business. The acquisition (closed end of June 2021) will accelerate Schur Flexibles' expansion in the Italian market while preserving continuity as the selling family remains in management.
