Schur Flexibles Group Acquires Sidac SpA

Austria-based Schur Flexibles Group has acquired Sidac SpA, a Forlì-based Italian manufacturer of flexible packaging, for an undisclosed sum. The deal gives Schur access to Sidac’s Forlì production plant, solvent-recovery facility and a portfolio serving food, beverage, confectionery and animal feed markets; Sidac reported ~€34 million revenue and about 120 employees.

Teufelberger and Sigma Plastics Group Acquire Maillis Plastics Solutions from H.I.G. Capital

Teufelberger and Sigma Plastics Group have acquired Maillis Plastics Solutions (MPS) — a Karczew, Poland-based manufacturer of stretch film and plastic strapping — in a deal sold by H.I.G. Capital/Maillis Group. Teufelberger purchased MPS' strapping business to strengthen its European market position, while Sigma acquired the stretch film segment to establish a European presence.

Aliplast Acquires Gurit Italia PET Recycling Site

Aliplast, a subsidiary controlled by Herambiente (Hera Group), has acquired Gurit Italia’s PET recycling business unit and integrated the Carmignano di Brenta (Padua) plant. The acquisition adds roughly 15,000 tonnes per year of PET recycling capacity and will allow Aliplast to integrate new grinding, washing and extrusion lines suitable for food-contact and fiber uses while optimising logistics and storage capacity.

Repeats Group Invests in Polimero Srl to Expand LDPE Recycling Platform in Italy

Repeats Group B.V., a pan‑European plastics recycling platform (a portfolio company of Ara Partners), has invested in Polimero Srl, an LDPE recycling and pellet producer based in Rovigo, Italy. The deal expands Repeats' footprint into Italy as part of its strategy to build a leading independent recycled LDPE resin platform across Europe; financial terms were not disclosed.
