The Futurum Group Acquires Techstrong Group

The Futurum Group has agreed to acquire Techstrong Group, a Boca Raton–based tech media and analyst platform that publishes sites such as DevOps.com and Security Boulevard. The acquisition integrates Techstrong's media, events, lead-generation engines and distribution channels into Futurum's analyst, research and media offerings to expand capabilities and audience reach.

The deal (terms not disclosed) adds more than 100 professionals to Accenture and expands the capabilities of Accenture Cloud First in hybrid cloud, data center and modern workplace infrastructure engineering.

Tecnotree Acquires CognitiveScale

Tecnotree Corporation (Espoo, Finland) has agreed to acquire CognitiveScale, an Austin-based AI engineering platform provider, to expand Tecnotree's AI/ML capabilities and accelerate 5G use-case monetization in North America. The deal is expected to contribute roughly EUR 5 million of ARR in 2023 and is subject to customary conditions, with closing expected in 2022.

Cadence Acquires Future Facilities

Cadence Design Systems has acquired Future Facilities, a London-based provider of physics-based 3D digital twin and CFD simulation software for data center thermal and energy optimization. The deal expands Cadence's multiphysics and electronics cooling capabilities by integrating Future Facilities' digital-twin solutions with Cadence's existing thermal solver portfolio; terms were not disclosed and the acquisition is expected to be immaterial to near-term revenue.

Peak Technologies Acquires North Coast Technical

The acquisition expands Peak's machine vision and AI capabilities to better serve manufacturing, logistics and retail customers; North Coast's founder and CEO Dave Sexton will remain in his role.
