Main Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in The Hague, has acquired TrustArc, a Walnut Creek, California–based privacy compliance and data protection software provider, from Bregal Sagemount. Financial terms were not disclosed; TrustArc (founded 1997) serves over 1,200 customers, employs more than 300 people, and Main Capital said it will accelerate product innovation and expand TrustArc's presence in Europe and India.
