The deal combines complementary industrial footprints across Europe and North America to create a larger European ammunition manufacturer; the transaction remains subject to customary regulatory and antitrust conditions.

Avril (Saipol) Acquires Champlor Renewables from Valtris

Avril Industrie, via its Saipol subsidiary, has completed the acquisition of the Champlor Renewables rapeseed-crushing, refining and biodiesel business in Baleycourt, France from Valtris Specialty Chemicals. The Baleycourt facility processes approximately 400,000 tons of seeds per year; Valtris will retain and operate its specialty additives business co-located at the site as it focuses on its core portfolio.

Apheon Acquires Majority Stake in Salpa

Apheon, a pan‑European private equity firm, has acquired a majority stake in Salpa, an Italian producer of cookie-based ingredients and inclusions for the industrial ice cream, dairy and confectionery sectors. The Cherubini family and Italian PE firm Equinox sold their stakes while the Cherubini family and management reinvested as minority shareholders; Apheon will support Salpa's planned international expansion and growth.

Greif, Inc. Agrees to Acquire IPACKCHEM Group SAS from SK Capital Partners

Greif, Inc. has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire IPACKCHEM Group SAS from an affiliate of SK Capital Partners in a cash transaction valued at $538 million. IPACKCHEM, headquartered in Paris with ~1,400 employees and LTM sales of ~$235 million (adjusted EBITDA ~$57 million), will expand Greif's capabilities in premium barrier and small plastic containers and support growth in EMEA and APAC.

SK Capital Partners, a New York-based private investment firm focused on specialty materials and chemicals, has completed the acquisition of IPACKCHEM Group SAS, a Paris-headquartered manufacturer of sustainability-oriented barrier plastic packaging for the crop protection and specialty chemicals markets. SK Capital said it will partner with IPACKCHEM's management to accelerate organic and acquisitive growth and expand the company's global market position.

Schivo has acquired Mecaplast SA, a Swiss specialist in high-precision plastic, metal and ceramic injection molding and cleanroom assembly for MedTech and life sciences OEMs. The acquisition expands Schivo’s vertical integration and establishes Mecaplast’s Botterens facility as Schivo’s Global Center of Excellence for molding and precision manufacturing in Europe.
