Pender & Acorn Acquire Four Software Companies from Pluribus Technologies

Pender Growth Fund Inc., together with Acorn Partners Inc., completed the acquisition of four technology subsidiaries from Pluribus Technologies for aggregate cash consideration of C$17.0 million. The businesses — POWR Inc., Rowanwood Professional Services Ltd., Cranham Haig Ltd. (CHL Software / DocMoto) and Assured Software Ltd. — will be held under a newly formed, majority-owned holding company, Pender Software Holdings Ltd., and continue to be led by their existing management teams.

Pluribus Technologies Acquires Claymore Inc. and SkilSure Limited

Pluribus Technologies Inc. completed the acquisition of the assets of Claymore Inc. and SkilSure Limited, expanding its eLearning portfolio and executing a roll-up strategy in the regulated healthcare and apprenticeship training markets. The deal brings Claymore's SkilSure competency management and QuizBase assessment tools into Pluribus's Learning Network, and provides geographic expansion into the United Kingdom and deeper penetration of Canadian regulated healthcare professional associations.

Pluribus Technologies Corp. (TSXV: PLRB) acquired all outstanding shares of Knowledge Strategies Inc., doing business as Tortal Training, a Woburn, Massachusetts–based eLearning and LMS provider. The deal (announced under a May 16, 2022 share purchase agreement) was paid in cash and Pluribus common shares with an additional earn-out, and is intended to strengthen Pluribus' eLearning capabilities and create cross-selling opportunities across its portfolio under The Learning Network banner.

Mitratech Acquires HotDocs
