Resilience Capital Partners Takes Minority Stake in Leader Auto Resources (DealerShop)

Resilience Capital Partners has acquired a minority (40%) growth equity stake in Montreal-based Leader Auto Resources (LAR), which will rebrand its U.S. operations as DealerShop. The investment will fund LAR/DealerShop’s U.S. expansion — including a planned Detroit-area distribution center and new leadership under Mary Petrovich and Bill Gryzenia — to scale its buying-group and distribution services to franchised dealerships and collision centers across the Northeast and Midwest.

CARS, headquartered in McLean, Virginia, owns a portfolio of more than 250 net-lease automotive dealership properties across the U.S. and Canada; the acquisition expands Ares' net-lease capabilities and increases its net lease gross asset value to more than $7 billion over the prior 15 months.
