Covalent Metrology has acquired Materials Characterization Services (MAT-CS), an Austin-based analytical services supplier, to expand its North American lab partner network and combine MAT-CS’s project-management expertise with Covalent’s Sunnyvale laboratory and digital platform. MAT-CS founder Scott Baumann will join Covalent as Vice President of Lab Partnerships and Engagement to lead integration and partnership expansion.

Element Materials Technology Acquires Analytical Lab Group from Thompson Street Capital Partners

Curative Inc. Acquires KorvaLabs, Inc.

Curative Inc. has acquired KorvaLabs, a CLIA-certified and DEA-licensed analytical laboratory based in San Dimas, California, formalizing a partnership that supported Curative's manufacture and processing of its oral fluid COVID-19 test. The acquisition strengthens Curative's testing capacity — to date the organizations processed 245,371 tests together and were processing roughly 14,000 tests per day — and secures in-house manufacturing and processing capabilities.
