One Equity Partners Acquires PGW Auto Glass from LKQ Corporation

One Equity Partners (OEP) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire PGW Auto Glass, the largest independent distributor of aftermarket auto glass in North America, from a subsidiary of LKQ Corporation. OEP will partner with PGW management, led by Todd Fencak as CEO, to establish PGW as an independent, standalone business and invest to accelerate growth across its distribution network of 113 facilities and ~900 employees.

PGW Auto Glass has acquired Dakotaland Autoglass, a 13-location independent distributor and installer of automotive replacement glass and related supplies based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The transaction, effective May 30, 2025, was an exit by West Edge Partners; terms were not disclosed. PGW — a portfolio company of One Equity Partners — said the deal expands its geographic presence and integrates Dakotaland into PGW’s distribution, installation and Everything Autoglass technology platform.

PGW Auto Glass Acquires PH Vitres d'Autos from Driven Brands

PGW Auto Glass has acquired PH Vitres d'Autos and affiliates from Driven Brands, adding more than 300 employees and 22 locations across eastern Canada to its network. The acquisition expands PGW's footprint in Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and integrates PH Vitres into PGW's technology and distribution platform, Everything Autoglass. PGW is a portfolio company of One Equity Partners, and the deal serves as an add-on to PGW's North American operations.

American Insulated Glass, a portfolio company of AV Capital, acquired A.L. Smith Glass Company, a custom glass fabricator based in Ijamsville, Maryland. The deal brings A.L. Smith into the AIG platform to expand fabrication capabilities and AIG’s geographic footprint in the Northeast commercial and residential glazing markets.
