Definitive Healthcare Acquires HIMSS Analytics' Data Services Business

The acquisition expands Definitive Healthcare’s healthcare data and IT purchasing intelligence capabilities by integrating HIMSS Analytics’ technology install and purchasing-contract datasets into its platform.

Health Catalyst Acquires healthfinch

Health Catalyst, a healthcare data and analytics company, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Madison-based healthfinch, a developer of EMR-integrated clinical workflow optimization software. The acquisition (reported at ~$40 million by media outlets) will bring healthfinch's EMR-embedded insights into Health Catalyst's Data Operating System to augment clinical workflows and strengthen its population health portfolio; the deal was expected to close in Q3 2020 and to be funded with a mix of stock and cash.

Phreesia Acquires MediFind
