FDH Aero has acquired Madison Aerospace, a Haltom City, Texas-based distributor of aerospace hardware focused on the OEM market. The deal expands FDH's product offerings and strengthens its footprint in the Texas aerospace production supply chain; Madison's leadership (Brian and Craig Hutchins) will continue to run operations. Audax Private Equity is the sponsor behind FDH (FDH has completed multiple add-ons since Audax's 2017 investment).

Southwire Company Acquires Madison Electric Products LLC

Southwire Company, LLC has acquired Madison Electric Products LLC, a Solon, Ohio-based manufacturer of electrical components and accessories. The acquisition adds Madison's product lines, brands and innovation pipeline to Southwire's Tools, Components and Assembled Solutions business and brings 34 employees along with facilities in Solon, OH and Duluth, GA.

ISCO Industries Acquires Infinity Plastics

Essex Industries Acquires Stevens Manufacturing

Essex Industries has acquired Stevens Manufacturing, a Milford, Connecticut-based precision machining firm that supplies OEM parts and sub-assemblies to the aerospace and defense rotorcraft market. The deal (effective February 16, 2021) expands Essex's aerospace and defense product portfolio and improves service coverage for customers in the Northeast; Stevens operates a single 62,000 sq. ft. facility with 54 employees and had been a J.H. Whitney Capital Partners portfolio company since 2014.

The Hoffmann Family of Companies Partners with Shepler's Ferry Inc.

Shepler's Ferry Inc., the family-owned operator of ferry services to Mackinac Island, has entered a partnership with The Hoffmann Family of Companies. Greenwich Capital Group served as exclusive financial advisor to Shepler's in the transaction, which transfers ownership/partnership interest from the third-generation Shepler family to the Hoffmann family to ensure continuity of service and stewardship of the business.

Newbury Franklin Industrials Acquires Metro Plastics Technologies

Newbury Franklin Industrials (NFI) acquired Metro Plastics Technologies, a custom plastic injection molding company based in Noblesville, Indiana; the deal closed April 28, 2022. The acquisition brings injection molding, in‑house tooling and smart manufacturing (IoT-enabled) capabilities into NFI’s industrial components platform and continues the Hahn family’s legacy through a culturally aligned buyer.
