Employee-owned engineering and environmental consulting firm Terracon has acquired Metcalf Archaeological Consultants, an employee-owned cultural resource management and environmental planning firm. Metcalf’s ~72 employees and its FactorEarth technology platform will join Terracon to expand archaeology, architectural history, and environmental planning capabilities across the Rocky Mountain and Great Plains regions and nationwide.

Terracon, an employee-owned engineering consulting firm headquartered in Olathe, Kansas, has acquired Harbor Environmental, Inc., a multi-disciplined environmental and engineering services firm based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Harbor's 38 employees will join Terracon as Harbor Environmental, A Terracon Company, expanding Terracon's capabilities and local presence in Arkansas.

Terracon Acquires SAGE Environmental and SAGE EnviroTech Drilling Services

Terracon, an employee-owned engineering consulting firm based in Olathe, Kansas, has acquired Rhode Island-based SAGE Environmental and SAGE EnviroTech Drilling Services. The acquisition adds environmental assessment, remediation, permitting, regulatory compliance and specialized geotechnical/environmental drilling capabilities to Terracon’s existing Northeast operations and brings roughly 33 SAGE employees into Terracon.

Terracon Acquires TAM Consultants, Inc.

Terracon, an employee-owned engineering consulting firm based in Olathe, Kansas, has acquired Wang Engineering Inc. of Lombard, Illinois. The acquisition brings Wang’s 25-person geotechnical, construction inspection, and materials testing team into Terracon to expand capabilities for transportation and infrastructure clients across Illinois and Indiana.
