Crane NXT Acquires OpSec Security from Investcorp for $270M

Crane NXT, Co. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire OpSec Security from Investcorp Technology Partners for $270 million in cash (subject to customary adjustments). The acquisition — which excludes Zacco, retained by Investcorp — expands Crane NXT's physical and digital authentication and brand-protection capabilities; OpSec expects roughly $130 million in revenue for fiscal 2024.

Jamf Acquires ZecOps to Expand Mobile Detection and Response

Jamf agreed to acquire ZecOps, a mobile detection and response specialist, to extend Jamf's mobile security capabilities and accelerate mobile threat investigations. The transaction, announced September 26, 2022, closed in Q4 2022 (reports cite a ~USD 45.2 million consideration) and will integrate ZecOps' advanced mobile threat hunting, forensics and incident response into the Jamf platform.

SailPoint Acquires SecZetta

The acquisition integrates SecZetta’s third‑party identity discovery, risk and identity proofing capabilities into SailPoint’s platform to give enterprises centralized visibility and governance for contractors, contingent workers and other non‑employee identities.

Truesec Acquires Venzo Cyber Security A/S

Truesec has acquired Danish specialist Venzo Cyber Security A/S from the VENZO Group to strengthen its cybersecurity capabilities and market position in Denmark and Northern Europe. The deal, announced with an expected completion date of June 1, 2023, brings Venzo’s security advisory, solutions and managed services into Truesec’s global cyber offering.

Zscaler Acquires Canonic Security

Zscaler, Inc. announced it will acquire Canonic Security, an Israel-based SaaS application security startup that provides SaaS supply chain visibility and governance. The acquisition will integrate Canonic’s capabilities into Zscaler’s CASB and SSPM offerings to strengthen SaaS supply chain security and data protection; terms were not disclosed and the deal is expected to close after Zscaler’s fiscal second quarter subject to customary closing conditions.

Executive Information Systems Acquires Zencos Consulting

The founders, David Septoff and Benjamin Zenick, retain an equity stake and will continue to lead the business; the acquisition expands EIS' SAS-based analytics, cloud modernization, and managed analytics capabilities.
