Load One, headquartered outside Detroit, Michigan, is a provider of expedited transportation and logistics services across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico; H.I.G. will provide capital and resources to accelerate strategic growth initiatives.

RoadOne IntermodaLogistics has acquired Ace Transport Miami LLC; the business will operate as Ace IntermodaLogistics and expand RoadOne's service footprint in Southern Florida. Ace brings intermodal, transload and overweight-container capabilities, a 100,410 sq ft Miami warehouse, 70 drivers and a 300‑unit chassis fleet; founders Rudy and David Alvarez will remain as shareholders and continue to run operations. The acquisition is an add-on to RoadOne's PE-backed platform (recapitalized by Ridgemont Equity Partners) to accelerate Florida network and capability expansion.
