RPC, Inc. (NYSE: RES) acquired Pintail Alternative Energy, L.L.C. (d/b/a Pintail Completions) effective April 1, 2025, for approximately $245 million in a deal funded with cash, restricted stock and a seller note. Pintail, headquartered in Midland, Texas, is a leading provider of oilfield wireline completions services in the Permian Basin; the acquisition expands RPC's completion service lines and Permian geographic footprint while adding a high-margin, cash-generative wireline business.

SOCOTEC Acquires Spinnaker Group

(SOCOTEC USA), a provider of testing, inspection, certification and building consultancy services, has completed the acquisition of Spinnaker Group, a South Florida–based energy efficiency and sustainability consulting firm. The deal expands SOCOTEC's energy & sustainability capabilities and establishes a stronger presence in the South Florida market for commissioning, energy modeling, LEED and O&M consulting services.

SPIE Acquires 85% Stake in Correll Group

French multi-technical services group SPIE will acquire 85% of Correll Group, a UK-based specialist in electrical engineering, installation and maintenance for the offshore wind sector. The deal expands SPIE Oil & Gas Services' footprint in offshore wind (it will be renamed SPIE Global Services Energy) and is expected to close in January 2024; Correll will retain 15% with management and contributes ~€55m revenue and c.109 employees plus 500+ contractors (2023).

Precision Drilling Corporation Acquires CWC Energy Services Corp.

Precision Drilling Corporation has entered into an agreement to acquire all issued and outstanding common shares of CWC Energy Services Corp. for approximately $141 million in total consideration (947,909 Precision shares valued at ~$88M, $14M cash, plus assumption of debt). The acquisition adds 62 marketed service rigs in Canada and 18 marketed drilling rigs (including 11 in the U.S.), and is expected to generate about $20 million of annual operating synergies while supporting Precision's deleveraging plan.

Ranger Energy Services Acquires American Well Services from Argonaut Private Equity

The acquisition increases Ranger’s rig count by roughly 25%, expands its service lines and is expected to be immediately accretive with identified synergies of $4 million.
