LBMX Inc., a London, Ontario–based business marketplace platform provider, acquired Buying Group Services (BGS) in an all‑shares transaction effective January 1, 2022. The acquisition adds managed services capabilities to LBMX's existing EDI, PIM and eCommerce offerings, enabling expanded services (including central payments and PIM enrichment) for independent distributors, buying groups and suppliers across end markets such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building materials and food service equipment.

Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. Acquires BTM Engineering, Inc.

Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. acquired the assets of BTM Engineering, Inc., a Louisville, Kentucky-based civil and structural engineering, surveying and landscape architecture firm. The asset purchase (financed with cash, seller financing and stock) is expected to initially contribute approximately $3.0 million of annual net service billing and expands Bowman's presence into the Louisville market.

Markerstudy Group Acquires BGL Insurance from BGL Group

Markerstudy Group has agreed to acquire BGL Insurance (BGLi) from BGL Group, subject to regulatory approval, in a deal announced by investor Pollen Street. The acquisition brings together BGLi's digital insurance distribution and data capabilities with Markerstudy's underwriting capabilities to create a combined business serving close to six million customers and accelerate Markerstudy's digital growth.

Bureau Veritas Acquires IDP Group

Bureau Veritas has acquired IDP Group, a Barcelona-region specialist in Building Information Modeling (BIM), Project Management Assistance and Digital Twin services, which will become a Bureau Veritas Global Technical Center for BIM and digital solutions. IDP generated €30.2 million in revenue in 2023 and employs roughly 550 specialists; the deal expands Bureau Veritas' Buildings & Infrastructure digital capabilities and strengthens its decarbonization and asset-digitalization offerings.
